Customers may elect to use their own router with Mi-Fiber Internet service. Electing this option will require the use of an Ethernet router, not a cable or DSL modem. An Ethernet cable will need to be run from the Ethernet port on the ONT to the WAN/Internet port on the customer owned router. Customer will assume full responsibility for their equipment, along with the configuration and maintenance of it and their wired/wireless networks. This includes programming the WAN service on the customer owned router. If
customers are unable to provide this equipment or program it, they will be required to lease a Mi-Fiber router. Please note that performance and user experience may be impacted by equipment selected. Mi-Fiber does not endorse any specific model or brand of Ethernet router.
